In 2003 We decided to purchase Olive trees from California to try our hand at olive growing. We bought several varieties from our friends at Santa Cruz Olive Nursery. Our main variety was the Arbequina olive tree. Originally from Spain, it tolerates the hot weather and the unpredictable winters of the Texas Hill Country.
